The Bounty,
captained by William Bligh, became world famous on April 28 1789 when
Fletcher Christian and 17 other crew took over the ship in a mutiny
that has been written into the history books. The Bounty was taken to
the Pitcairn Islands and burned in 1790 in what is now known as Bounty
Bay. The set also contains a Bounty definitive postage stamp.
